# Midway vs VPN Snail

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Midway at 100% against VPN Snail's 45%. Midway also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). VPN Snail's advantage is ratings volume (366 vs 3) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Snail sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Midway asks for nothing beyond the download.
