# Step Counter Pedometer doSteps vs Шагомер

The clearest difference is monetization model: Шагомер at free against Step Counter Pedometer doSteps's freemium. Step Counter Pedometer doSteps's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 98) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Counter Pedometer doSteps sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Шагомер sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Step Counter Pedometer doSteps against 4.8 for Шагомер. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Step Counter Pedometer doSteps has 1.2K ratings behind it against 98, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Step Counter Pedometer doSteps's written reviews are positive against 67% of Шагомер's.

Step Counter Pedometer doSteps ships an update every 6 weeks, Шагомер every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
