# QR++ vs ExternalVision

The clearest difference is update cadence: QR++ at every 11 days against ExternalVision's every 7 months. QR++ also leads on iOS requirement (13.5 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QR++ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and ExternalVision sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QR++ ships an update every 11 days, ExternalVision every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on September 5, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
