# Barrel Roller vs Wish You Luck

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wish You Luck at none against Barrel Roller's 1. Wish You Luck also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barrel Roller sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wish You Luck asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wish You Luck holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wish You Luck has 2.4K ratings behind it against 76, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Barrel Roller's written reviews are positive against 39% of Wish You Luck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Barrel Roller ships an update every 4 weeks, Wish You Luck every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
