# SAM Online vs Torify

The clearest difference is update cadence: SAM Online at every 2 days against Torify's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAM Online sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Torify sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SAM Online ships an update every 2 days, Torify every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
