# Hamster Tycoon vs Bubble Tea Tycoon

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bubble Tea Tycoon at every 10 days against Hamster Tycoon's every 6 weeks. Bubble Tea Tycoon also leads on review sentiment (66% vs 53%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). Hamster Tycoon's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (7.6K vs 237). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hamster Tycoon sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Bubble Tea Tycoon sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hamster Tycoon holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hamster Tycoon has 7.6K ratings behind it against 237, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Hamster Tycoon's written reviews are positive against 66% of Bubble Tea Tycoon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hamster Tycoon ships an update every 6 weeks, Bubble Tea Tycoon every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
