# SELA vs BUNGLY

The clearest difference is rating: SELA at 4.9 against BUNGLY's 4.5. BUNGLY's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 26%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On ratings volume, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

SELA holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 298 and 167 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of SELA's written reviews are positive against 50% of BUNGLY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SELA ships an update every 4 weeks, BUNGLY monthly. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
