# Pro Note vs Vane

The clearest difference is ads: Pro Note at none against Vane's shown. Vane's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Vane sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
