# eClock! vs TimeRoom

The clearest difference is review sentiment: eClock! at 85% against TimeRoom's 0%. eClock! also leads on ratings volume (173 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.4). TimeRoom's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eClock! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TimeRoom sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeRoom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eClock! has 173 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of eClock!'s written reviews are positive against 0% of TimeRoom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eClock! ships an update every 2 months, TimeRoom weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
