# MyCertificate vs CV+ Resume Maker

The clearest difference is rating: CV+ Resume Maker at 4.7 against MyCertificate's 4.2. CV+ Resume Maker also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 19 months) and ratings volume (174 vs 26). MyCertificate's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (40% vs 9%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyCertificate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and CV+ Resume Maker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CV+ Resume Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CV+ Resume Maker has 174 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of MyCertificate's written reviews are positive against 9% of CV+ Resume Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyCertificate ships an update every 19 months, CV+ Resume Maker every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
