# VIDAA vs His

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VIDAA at none against His's 1. VIDAA also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 75). His's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. His sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. VIDAA asks for nothing beyond the download.

VIDAA holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VIDAA has 14K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of VIDAA's written reviews are positive against 50% of His's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VIDAA ships an update every 2 months, His every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
