# Iris & Rainbow vs Simple Modern

Iris & Rainbow also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). Simple Modern's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 185). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Iris & Rainbow against 4.9 for Simple Modern.
