# PromptSmart+ vs Prompter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prompter at every 2 weeks against PromptSmart+'s every 5 weeks. PromptSmart+'s advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PromptSmart+ sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Prompter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PromptSmart+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Prompter every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
