# CC Harp vs Harmonica University

The clearest difference is rating: CC Harp at 5.0 against Harmonica University's 3.4. CC Harp also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). Harmonica University's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CC Harp sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Harmonica University sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CC Harp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harmonica University has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CC Harp ships an update every 4 months, Harmonica University every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
