# Smart Lamp Pro vs Bluetooth

The clearest difference is rating: Bluetooth at 3.7 against Smart Lamp Pro's 2.1. Bluetooth also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months). Smart Lamp Pro's advantage is ratings volume (86 vs 3) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bluetooth holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Lamp Pro has 86 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smart Lamp Pro ships an update every 4 months, Bluetooth every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
