# IS392 vs Pic Answer

The clearest difference is rating: Pic Answer at 4.6 against IS392's 3.1. Pic Answer also leads on ratings volume (3.4K vs 22) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). IS392's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pic Answer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. IS392 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pic Answer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pic Answer has 3.4K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of IS392's written reviews are positive against 56% of Pic Answer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IS392 ships an update every 2 months, Pic Answer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
