# ZATE vs The Loop

The clearest difference is rating: The Loop at 5.0 against ZATE's 3.5. The Loop also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). ZATE's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Loop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZATE has 36 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of ZATE's written reviews are positive against 100% of The Loop's.

ZATE ships an update every 2 weeks, The Loop every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
