# Summit Coffee vs Spoons App

The clearest difference is monetization model: Spoons App at free against Summit Coffee's free with in-app purchases. Summit Coffee's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Summit Coffee against 5.0 for Spoons App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summit Coffee has 2.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Summit Coffee ships an update every 3 weeks, Spoons App fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
