# OneWidget vs Widgetly

The clearest difference is monetization model: Widgetly at free with in-app purchases against OneWidget's subscription. Widgetly also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). OneWidget's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and review sentiment (54% vs 30%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneWidget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Widgetly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OneWidget holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OneWidget has 222 ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of OneWidget's written reviews are positive against 30% of Widgetly's.

OneWidget ships an update every 3 weeks, Widgetly daily. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
