# OneWidget vs ・ (Yidget)

The clearest difference is monetization model: ・ (Yidget) at free with in-app purchases against OneWidget's subscription. ・ (Yidget) also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 54%) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 222). OneWidget's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneWidget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ・ (Yidget) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for OneWidget against 4.5 for ・ (Yidget). That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ・ (Yidget) has 1.5K ratings behind it against 222, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of OneWidget's written reviews are positive against 65% of ・ (Yidget)'s.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
