# OneWidget vs Lock Launcher

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lock Launcher at 80% against OneWidget's 54%. Lock Launcher also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (4K vs 222). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneWidget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Lock Launcher sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lock Launcher holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lock Launcher has 4K ratings behind it against 222, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of OneWidget's written reviews are positive against 80% of Lock Launcher's.

OneWidget ships an update every 3 weeks, Lock Launcher every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
