# OneWidget vs Lively Widget

The clearest difference is rating: OneWidget at 4.5 against Lively Widget's 3.9. OneWidget also leads on ratings volume (222 vs 40). Lively Widget's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and review sentiment (78% vs 54%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneWidget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Lively Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OneWidget holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OneWidget has 222 ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of OneWidget's written reviews are positive against 78% of Lively Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OneWidget ships an update every 3 weeks, Lively Widget monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
