# Audio Converter vs Clockbook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Clockbook at none against Audio Converter's 6. Clockbook also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Audio Converter's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audio Converter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.79 per 7 days. Clockbook asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clockbook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Audio Converter has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Audio Converter ships an update every 2 months, Clockbook every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and June 3, 2026 respectively.
