# Guided Journal vs Ever Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ever Journal at every 4 weeks against Guided Journal's every 3 months. Guided Journal's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guided Journal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Ever Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $18.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Guided Journal ships an update every 3 months, Ever Journal every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
