# Exhale App vs EBONY NOTES

The clearest difference is update cadence: EBONY NOTES at weekly against Exhale App's every 3 months. EBONY NOTES also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 76%). Exhale App's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (146 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exhale App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and EBONY NOTES sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exhale App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exhale App has 146 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Exhale App's written reviews are positive against 91% of EBONY NOTES's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Exhale App ships an update every 3 months, EBONY NOTES weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
