# Exhale App vs Vitals Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vitals Diary at every 8 days against Exhale App's every 3 months. Vitals Diary also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Exhale App's advantage is ratings volume (148 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exhale App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Vitals Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
