# HomGar vs Ansque

The clearest difference is rating: Ansque at 3.7 against HomGar's 2.2. Ansque also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). HomGar's advantage is review sentiment (22% vs 0%) and ratings volume (76 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ansque holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomGar has 76 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of HomGar's written reviews are positive against 0% of Ansque's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HomGar ships an update every 4 weeks, Ansque fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
