# Smart NFC Tools vs FastPass

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FastPass at 73% against Smart NFC Tools's 30%. FastPass also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Smart NFC Tools's advantage is ratings volume (478 vs 25). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart NFC Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FastPass sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FastPass holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart NFC Tools has 478 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of Smart NFC Tools's written reviews are positive against 73% of FastPass's.

Smart NFC Tools ships an update weekly, FastPass every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
