# Smart NFC Tools vs Nuviu

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Nuviu at none against Smart NFC Tools's 1. Nuviu also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Smart NFC Tools's advantage is ratings volume (479 vs 1) and review sentiment (30% vs 11%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart NFC Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Nuviu asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nuviu holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart NFC Tools has 479 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Smart NFC Tools's written reviews are positive against 11% of Nuviu's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smart NFC Tools ships an update weekly, Nuviu every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
