# HES Check vs Abide

The clearest difference is ads: HES Check at none against Abide's shown. HES Check also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). Abide's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 1) and chart position (#61 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for HES Check against 4.9 for Abide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Abide has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
