# Fintunes vs Darktone

The clearest difference is update cadence: Darktone at every 5 days against Fintunes's every 2 months. Fintunes's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for Fintunes against 4.0 for Darktone. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fintunes has 31 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fintunes ships an update every 2 months, Darktone every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
