# MapGenie vs Amiko AI

The clearest difference is ads: Amiko AI at none against MapGenie's shown. Amiko AI also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 37 months). MapGenie's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MapGenie sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Amiko AI sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
