# Habit Tracker vs Atomic

The clearest difference is rating: Atomic at 4.9 against Habit Tracker's 4.4. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habit Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Atomic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Atomic holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 29 and 34 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of Habit Tracker's written reviews are positive against 90% of Atomic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Habit Tracker ships an update every 11 days, Atomic every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
