# CamView Lite vs sx

The clearest difference is rating: sx at 3.0 against CamView Lite's 1.0. CamView Lite's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

sx holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of CamView Lite's written reviews are positive against 0% of sx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CamView Lite ships an update every 2 months, sx monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
