# VPN vs Khoroos VPN

The clearest difference is ads: VPN at none against Khoroos VPN's shown. VPN also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 56%). Khoroos VPN's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Khoroos VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Khoroos VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 366 and 375 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 56% of Khoroos VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN ships an update every 3 weeks, Khoroos VPN every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
