# Podfest vs BE COURAGEOUS APP

The clearest difference is monetization model: Podfest at free with in-app purchases against BE COURAGEOUS APP's subscription. BE COURAGEOUS APP's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Podfest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $89.99 per year and BE COURAGEOUS APP sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Podfest against 5.0 for BE COURAGEOUS APP. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 4 respectively.

Podfest ships an update every 3 months, BE COURAGEOUS APP every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
