# baklava vs ArabLounge

The clearest difference is rating: baklava at 4.6 against ArabLounge's 4.1. baklava also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (4.2K vs 49). ArabLounge's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 29%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. baklava sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $13.00 per 7 days and ArabLounge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $30.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

baklava holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: baklava has 4.2K ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of baklava's written reviews are positive against 40% of ArabLounge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

baklava ships an update every 11 days, ArabLounge every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
