# baklava vs YappingApp

The clearest difference is rating: baklava at 4.6 against YappingApp's 4.0. baklava also leads on ratings volume (4.2K vs 4) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). YappingApp's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 29%) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. baklava sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $13.00 per 7 days. YappingApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

baklava holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: baklava has 4.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of baklava's written reviews are positive against 67% of YappingApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

baklava ships an update every 11 days, YappingApp monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
