# Mido vs Laps

The clearest difference is rating: Laps at 5.0 against Mido's 4.5. Laps also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (27 vs 2). Mido's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Laps sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Mido asks for nothing beyond the download.

Laps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Laps has 27 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mido ships an update monthly, Laps every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
