# FocusPomo · Pomodoro Timer vs Breakly

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FocusPomo · Pomodoro Timer at 8K against Breakly's 2. FocusPomo · Pomodoro Timer also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 67%) and device support (5 vs 2). Breakly's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusPomo · Pomodoro Timer sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Breakly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Breakly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FocusPomo · Pomodoro Timer has 8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of FocusPomo · Pomodoro Timer's written reviews are positive against 67% of Breakly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FocusPomo · Pomodoro Timer ships an update every 2 weeks, Breakly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
