# Wixom Library vs SproutAbout

The clearest difference is rating: Wixom Library at 4.8 against SproutAbout's 2.8. SproutAbout's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 0%) and ratings volume (727 vs 21). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wixom Library holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SproutAbout has 727 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Wixom Library's written reviews are positive against 38% of SproutAbout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
