# WeeTask vs ShelfApp

The clearest difference is rating: ShelfApp at 5.0 against WeeTask's 4.2. ShelfApp also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 11 months). WeeTask's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeeTask sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ShelfApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

ShelfApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeeTask has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeeTask ships an update every 11 months, ShelfApp every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
