# Drone Planet vs ASC

The clearest difference is rating: ASC at 3.3 against Drone Planet's 2.8. ASC also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and ratings volume (56 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ASC holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASC has 56 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 25% and 25% positive.

Drone Planet ships an update monthly, ASC every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
