# QuickLaunch Mobile vs PortalScout

The clearest difference is rating: PortalScout at 5.0 against QuickLaunch Mobile's 1.0. PortalScout also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 4 months). QuickLaunch Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PortalScout holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuickLaunch Mobile has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

QuickLaunch Mobile ships an update every 4 months, PortalScout every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
