# ComicHub vs 4EVAR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 4EVAR at 100% against ComicHub's 7%. 4EVAR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). ComicHub's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (94 vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

4EVAR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ComicHub has 94 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 7% of ComicHub's written reviews are positive against 100% of 4EVAR's.

ComicHub ships an update every 2 months, 4EVAR every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
