# ComicHub vs Redwing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Redwing at 50% against ComicHub's 7%. Redwing also leads on rating (2.6 vs 1.9) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). ComicHub's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (84 vs 12). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Redwing sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. ComicHub asks for nothing beyond the download.

Redwing holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ComicHub has 84 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 7% of ComicHub's written reviews are positive against 50% of Redwing's.

ComicHub ships an update every 2 months, Redwing every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
