# NoteCircle vs Binder

The clearest difference is rating: NoteCircle at 4.6 against Binder's 3.3. NoteCircle also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteCircle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Binder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteCircle holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteCircle has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of NoteCircle's written reviews are positive against 50% of Binder's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
