# NoteCircle vs Forgetproof

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Forgetproof at 100% against NoteCircle's 70%. Forgetproof also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). NoteCircle's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteCircle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Forgetproof sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forgetproof holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteCircle has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of NoteCircle's written reviews are positive against 100% of Forgetproof's.

NoteCircle ships an update every 3 days, Forgetproof every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
