# Sanskrit vs Optimal State

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sanskrit at none against Optimal State's 1. Sanskrit also leads on ratings volume (37 vs 4). Optimal State's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 62 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Optimal State sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Sanskrit asks for nothing beyond the download.
