# Adonit One vs Nitro PDF Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Nitro PDF Pro at 3.9 against Adonit One's 2.7. Nitro PDF Pro also leads on ratings volume (161 vs 9). Adonit One's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 13%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Adonit One sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Nitro PDF Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nitro PDF Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nitro PDF Pro has 161 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Adonit One's written reviews are positive against 13% of Nitro PDF Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Adonit One ships an update fortnightly, Nitro PDF Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
